Hand-entry and pipe cover since they have narrow seating surfaces and high sealing pressures.
Special 0.250 “joints are recommended for use in assemblies with wide seating surfaces and low sealing pressure. Where there are settlement surfaces.
Worn or deteriorated the 0.250 “thick gasket will allow additional flow within the irregularities.
