Description
It is a diamond-shaped corrugated, which reduces the area of contact and allows the metal to flow to form a greater seal without the need to give high pressure to the locking screws. It is ideal for high pressures, high temperatures and for highly corrosive liquids. They are used in threaded joints where it is required that when sealing there is a small friction between the sealing face and the packing.
