RTJ-Solid Ring Gaskets
Description
Oval: the oval cross section is the design of the solid ring seal.
Octagonal: the octagonal cross section is a modification of the oval type and provides a better seal. Oval and octagonal joints can be used with flanges that have the normal bottom flat groove for joints the round bottom groove used previously is no longer indicated in the flange specifications and can only be used with an oval joint.
Available in the series r11 to r105, according to the following flange specifications:
½ “- 24” 150 – 2500 ansi, b 16.5 and bs 1560
262 – 36 “900 mss sp44
26 “- 36” 300 – 600 mss sp44 and bs 3293
1 ½ “- 20” api spc. 6a.
